Baastrup’s Disease : A Case Report

Abstract

|
Baastrup’s sign was encountered during the work-up of lumbar spine radiography for a 67-year-old women with lower back pain. This case showed that close approximation & sclerotic margins of adjacent enlarged, flattened spinous processes of the lower lumbar spine. The patient has suffered from intermittent lumbago, expecially during extension of lumbar spine for several years. These radiologic finding and symptom were thought to be Baastrup’s disease.
